The well-established Currency brand was recently revitalized when CTI Paper USA coupled its research and development expertise with the manufacturing prowess of Appleton to develop several innovative new products for the line. Currency continues to be manufactured in the "paper valley," Appleton, WI.

The Process
Currency's tried-and-true smooth metallic colors are coated with a real aluminum metal flake pigment. Following the coating process, the sheet is supercalendared to achieve its ultra-smooth surface. The elegant new Currency Prestige is coated just as the smooth colors and then micro-embossed as a final step to acheive its luxurious, textured finish. The reverse side of all Currency cover weights is a fully coated, semi-gloss recommended for process printing.
